VIER PFOTEN mit dem Film „Eating the Future“ im November auf Kinotour

In the organizer's words:

FOUR PAWS is touring Germany forthe first time with the award-winning documentary "Eating the Future": the global animal welfare foundation is presenting the film in five cities, which impressively sheds light on our complex, crisis-driven food system - and shows how we can work together to find new ways for a sustainable future. The tour will kick off on November 5, 2025 in Cologne. Further screenings are planned in Munich, Berlin, Hamburg and Hanover.

The documentary "Eating the Future" follows a curious narrator who goes undercover not only to uncover the harsh reality of factory farming, but also to search for hope. On her journey through Europe, she meets people from agriculture, medicine and research, as well as animal and environmental activists and people who have worked in slaughterhouses. Step by step, she approaches the question: "What does it take to improve the lives of everyone in this system - and what could an agriculture of the future look like that solves problems and offers sustainable solutions?"

After the film, FOUR PAWS invites you to an exciting discussion round - with Katy Jenkyns, the producer of "Eating the Future", former farmer and farm operator Jan Gerdes, author Tanja Busse, scientists Julia Jägle and Hanna Treu, Green Party member of the Hamburg Parliament Melanie Nerlich and Stefanie Pöpken, agricultural scientist and expert on animal welfare and other guests.
