Vain psychoanalyst Dr. Olivier Béranger has to deal with an extremely anxious and clingy client: Damien Leroy. To get rid of him, he convinces him that only true love can free him from his phobias. But a year later, his daughter Alice presents him with the new man at her side: Damien! Olivier has to act to thwart the marriage, because he had always imagined the "perfect son-in-law" to be different.
