The festive season is upon us once again - but not for the folk show. In episode 20, the show once again shows what makes it so hard to bear, but also magically attractive: an unpredictable presenter whose daily form depends on the weather and star constellations, and fantastic guests who carry the format - no matter what happens. Traveling this time: Gian Alba from Berlin and Rebekka Endler from Cologne.

Guests

Rebekka Endler (*1984) is a freelance journalist, podcaster and author from Cologne. Her work focuses on showing how systems of oppression influence people's lives in terms of gender, class, skin color and sexuality. Together with Annika Brockschmidt, she hosts the podcast "Feminist Shelf Control", which dissects literature, but also deals with current issues surrounding feminism and right-wing conservatism. Her latest book "Witches, Bitches, It-Girls" about misogynistic fairy tales and patriarchal storytelling was published in spring 2025 (Rowohlt).

Gian Alba is from Saarland with Italian roots. He studied comedy from the age of 4 to 12 by watching several hours of cheap American soaps and action movies every day. This knowledge led him to study mechanical engineering and he has now been successfully playing the role of "passionate engineer" to his colleagues in various companies for some time. He talks about his Italian grandfathers who shoot at cats with shotguns, everyday office life as an engineer and Saarland as a location for the future.

Presenter

Moritz Hürtgen, *1989 in Munich, works as a columnist for the satirical magazine Titanic and Apotheken Umschau. He stubbornly refuses to have a regular job. He is presenting the third season of the popular show this season.
