Film: Von Menschen, die auf Bäume steigen

In the organizer's words:

A film about climbing, self-empowerment and maximum impact. And about water and lots of gravel.

The filmmakers follow activists around the climate camp in Altdorf Forest for over 18 months. Protest and civil disobedience are met with incomprehension and open rejection by most citizens in Upper Swabia, even when it comes to preserving the natural foundations of life. A new form of resistance is now emerging in climbing activism, but it is being relentlessly pursued in the courts. The population is increasingly recognizing that it is about gravel, drinking water and co-determination over the "Alti", which as a state forest actually belongs to everyone.
