Premiere on 27.11.25 at the Senftöpfchen in Cologne

Once again this year, we will go through a rollercoaster of emotions during the Advent season: From the euphoria of mulled wine under the heating element - to acute depression in the face of fairy lights that simply cannot be untangled. And then on day X, the relatives are at the door.

What should we give when everyone already has everything and you have to find the right gift somewhere between a showy present and "we're not giving each other anything"?

What do you tell the little ones when they ask whether the gifts come from the Christ Child, St. Nicholas, Knecht Ruprecht or Santa Claus? And what do you do if they have sent a wish list to each of the four? Finally, what can a wife do to keep her husband occupied if he is always standing in the way of the roast goose, but shouldn't start tasting the wine too early?

Maria Vollmer has developed a Christmas mindset that helps to avoid all the pitfalls before the festive season, and she presents it to her audience with plenty of spirit, heavenly vocal interludes and a level of humor that will have you beaming with joy even when Uncle Herbert gives you a fondue set for the third time.
