In the event "Precautionary measures through health care proxies and advance care directives" , we explain why relatives / children / spouses can only act on your behalf if they are authorized to do so by a health care proxy. We provide information on the difference to legal guardianship, the various options for structuring powers of attorney and give practical advice on the storage and registration of powers of attorney. We will also explain what options you have if there is no trusted person in your family who you can authorize. You will also receive the usual forms to fill in later.

The Betreuungsverein Kinderschutz München e.V. is one of eight guardianship associations working on behalf of the City of Munich. The Betreuungsverein provides information and advice in the Schwabing and Freimann districts in one-to-one meetings, lectures and training sessions on the topics of legal guardianship, precautionary care through health care proxies, advance care directives and living wills.

In addition, relatives and volunteers who have been appointed as legal guardians by the local court are trained and advised for their work. In addition, the employees of the guardianship association themselves act as legal guardians.
