For 7 years, local residents in Covas do Barroso (northern Portugal) have been resisting the destruction of their natural and cultural landscape by planned lithium mining. A contribution from people who were in Barroso (northern Portugal) in spring.
The presentation shows pictures and short videos of the natural and cultural landscape there (subsistence farming, permaculture, commons, collective farming, etc.), the effects of the planned lithium mining on the habitat there and the resistance of local residents.
