P&T and Diogenes Verlag cordially invite you to a special pre-Christmas reading: Melissa Müller, internationally successful author and screenwriter, will be reading from her latest book Mit dir steht die Welt nicht still - Eine Liebe nach dem Holocaust.

Melissa Müller, born in Vienna, is known for her bestselling biographies such as The Girl Anne Frank and Until the Final Hour, which was the basis for the Oscar-nominated film Downfall. In 2023, together with Monika Czernin, she published Picasso's Hairdresser. The Story of a Friendship.

In her latest work, she uses the letters of Nanette "Nanne" Blitz and John F. Konig to tell the moving story of a love affair after the Holocaust. London, 1951: A chance encounter leads to an exchange of letters between Nanne, the only one of her family to survive Bergen-Belsen, and John, who is about to emigrate to Brazil. A book about hope, courage and the saving power of love.
