Celebrate the book release of VORWIEGEND FESTKOCHEND with us! :)
A touching story about old age, care and the power of unexpected encounters. Awarded the Hamburg Literature Prize.
Minna is 92, lives alone - and counts the words of the carers she encounters every day. Until Moni arrives. Moni listens. Moni buys the right potatoes. A special bond develops between shopping lists, puffed rice and North German practicality.
With subtle humor and a great sense of nuance, Lara M. Gahlow's short story debut tells of the courage to be close in a world that doesn't provide for it.
The name says it all: Vorwiegend festkochend contains three extra potato recipes - from classic to innovative.
