VR Pop-Up Galerie: Moving Sound Pictures

Where is it possible to juggle with the colorful shapes from the paintings of Henri Mattise or Wassily Kandinsky? Or make music with Pablo Picasso's abstract depiction of a guitar and mandolin? Not just seeing colors, but hearing them - and transforming entire visual worlds into sound with a single movement?

Moving Sound Pictures makes exactly that possible. Visual art, music and virtual reality (VR) merge to create an immersive experience. Through movement, sound and interaction, visitors can actively and playfully discover classical modernist paintings in VR. They become part of the art themselves: moving through three-dimensional soundscapes, interacting with forms and experiencing painting as a living, musical space.

With her VR pop-up gallery, multimedia artist and VR developer Konstantina Orlandatou is breaking new ground in digital art education in an interactive VR exhibition suitable for people of all ages. A multi-sensory experience for anyone who wants to get to know art from new perspectives.
