Walter Renneisen, euphorically celebrated by the audience and honored with the Grimme Prize and the Rheingau Music Prize, among others, for his life's work, has put together a brilliant program for this evening. It is about the Hessian, his lovely dialect, his objections and contradictions against everyone and everything and his merciless humor.

"Our youngest is left-handed" . "My husband is also, on alla zwaa side". Or: A father always eats the leftovers from plates and pots. One day, the 5-year-old son says to his mother: "Gell Mamma, if we didn't have our dad, I could keep us a wutz!" Or: "My wife is playing the piano!""We can't blow a piano" "Yes! My wife can't see any dust on it!"

Renneisen also tries his hand at a number of instruments: On the recorder, trumpet and trombone. On guitar, double bass and drums. On piano and cow horn. An exciting mixture.

And wisdom is brought to the ears: Without brains it's like bleed! An evening that should not only inspire Hesse.
