We meet at the main train station in Halle and travel together to Erdeborn, where the actual tour starts. From the train stop, we quickly walk through the beautiful village and immerse ourselves in a wide and surprisingly beautiful landscape. The path climbs gently between Steinberg and Franzosenberg before the panorama opens up towards the Süßen See lake. The trail descends through orchards to Aseleben and Seeburg. From there, we turn towards the beautiful Höhnstedt wine-growing area, the path already offering wonderful views of the south-western slopes opposite. We pay a visit to Rollsdorf with its open church, whose gothic style is so reminiscent of England. Then it's time for a bit of climbing, as we want to climb up to the most beautiful wine view (2016) in the Saale-Unstrut region and to some other secret viewpoints. We then head back down to the Steiger vineyard, the first of many wine taverns on our way to Langenbogen, past the breathtaking rock faces of the vineyards. Finally, we turn towards Teutschenthal (train station), from where we start our return journey to Halle.

Hey, I'm Thomas, a certified hiking guide with the German Hiking Association and a passionate hiker. My heart beats for the wonderful landscapes of my home region. Whether Saale-Unstrut, (southern) Harz or the Lower Saale Valley. From Halle, it often takes less than an hour to reach breathtaking natural and cultural landscapes that are waiting to be discovered. My preference: quiet paths, ancient places of power, the most beautiful views. I would like to share my passion with you here and invite you to come with me - into the breathtaking, mysterious and beautiful nature on your doorstep. I look forward to seeing you there!
The tour leads through surprisingly beautiful scenery and offers some truly breathtaking views of the wine region.
