Since their debut in 2005, We Came As Romans from Michigan have repeatedly set new standards. After "To Plant A Seed" (2009) and "Understanding What We've Grown To Be" (2011), "Tracing Back" (2013) cracked the Top 10 of the Billboard Charts and catapulted to No. 1 on the Independent Albums Charts and the Top Hard Rock Albums Charts. And that was just the beginning.
With their seventh studio album, "All Is Beautiful... Because We're Doomed", the quintet is once again setting new standards, which, since the death of their former singer Kyle Pavone, to whom they had already paid tribute on their last album "Darkbloom" in 2022, are naturally not quite as lively and cheerful this time either. Nevertheless, they pull out all the stops again this time, between groovy metal-core, breakdowns and circle pit moments, between spacey electronica and more delicate pieces.
They will be accompanied on this year's European tour by Catch Your Breath from Austin, Texas, who are providing us with a never-ending stream of new singles to accompany their debut album "Shame On Me" (2023). Her latest - at least at the moment we are writing this - is called "Dark". It's worth checking them out online every now and then. There's more to come!
