Coffee, cake & kick drums - the beat production session at NEO Café Bremen

Once a month, the NEO Café in the heart of Bremen transforms into a creative playground for everyone who loves beats. Our monthly beat production session is all about sample-based music production: relaxed, open and without competitive pressure.

The concept is simple: at the beginning of each session, each participant receives the same sample. Then you have three hours to build something of your own from it, without any rules. Whether hip-hop, techno, soul or completely different genres: everything is allowed. Any sample pack, any synthesizer, any genre. Bring it on! At the end, we listen to all the results together on our own Function One system. Loud, fat and direct.

In addition to producing, there's also time for real nerd talk: share your approach, solo a layer or two and let others take a look into your bag of tricks. That's what makes these sessions special: the exchange between like-minded people, which really picks up speed after production.

All you need is a sampler or a computer with DAW and headphones. Friends are of course welcome to come along.
