This band subverts every expectation: conventions are broken, roles and instruments are swapped, vanities are omitted, hierarchies are avoided and freedoms are experienced in a way that is rarely found in music. The uncompromising nature of WEB WEB is the band's recipe for success. Saxophonist Tony Lakatos, keyboardist Robert di Gioia, bassist Christian von Kaphengst and drummer Chris Gall consistently live their ideals, their idea of music. Part of the quartet's concept is that they cannot be pigeonholed stylistically.

For over ten years, on more than eight albums and in countless concerts, the experimental Web Web troupe has played music that is hypnotic, highly energetic and has a clear psychedelic note. Incidentally, the band doesn't see jazz as a genre, but as a lived attitude - in other words: it creates from the moment, keeping all musical options open at every second.
