Weihnachtsmilonga - Tango argentino im Maxhaus

When the seats outside remain empty because it is too cold to dance, the Maxhaus opens its atmospheric, glass-roofed monastery courtyard for the first time for a winter milonga full of music, warmth and encounters. The extraordinary architecture - a high room with Mediterranean flair, plenty of space and no disturbing pillars - creates a unique atmosphere and invites you to a unique dance experience.

Tango is not a dance of youth or age - it belongs to everyone who is willing to get involved. It is a dialog without words, characterized by closeness, tension and musical depth. The connection between the dancers is not created through fixed step sequences, but through subtle impulses and listening to each other in the body. Tango is an improvised dance: the lead arises in the moment, the reaction is intuitive.

Curious? A taster lesson makes it easy to get started, after which the dance floor belongs to everyone who wants to be carried by the rhythm.

DJ Jens-Ingo Brodesser is one of the most renowned tango DJs in Europe and creates the musical flow of the evening with a fine sense and changing impulses.

The Klosterhofbistro will provide small delicacies and drinks for enjoyment and refreshment, while the light and music create an atmosphere that invites you to linger, watch and dance along.

The winter milonga is open to everyone - a place where people can meet, dance together and share the moment.
