On Thursday, November 6, 2025, the Future Lab on the "World of the future - Did we f*** up? Or are we just getting started?" - a joint event of the Heidelberg Energy Cooperative and the HCE. At 5 p.m., we will begin at Marsilius-Kolleg (Im Neuenheimer Feld 130.1, 69120 Heidelberg) with a panel discussion and subsequent workshops of our Future Lab. Together with five experts from science, business and society, we will discuss the challenges and opportunities of a sustainable future. From 18:00, we will open four workshop sessions for registered participants. Under guidance and in exchange with others, you will develop practical solutions, contribute your own ideas and learn about new possibilities for action. The number of participants per workshop is limited to 10-15 people.
The following workshops are available:
Workshop 1: "Tutoring for Federal Minister of Economics Ms. Reiche - Collection of energy policy solutions" (Nicolai Ferchl, Chairman of Heidelberger Energiegenossenschaft)
Workshop 2: "Playing with the climate" (Philipp Schrögel, visiting scientist at Chemnitz University of Technology, PartWiss project on participation in science)
Workshop 3: "VW stands for VerkehrsWende" (Tobi Rosswog, socio-ecological transformation activist from Freiburg)
Workshop 4: "Sustainable Startup Lab - From the idea to the sustainable business model" (Dr. Maximilian Jungmann, Managing Director of Momentum Novum and FALK Momentum and Managing Director of the Heidelberg Center for the Environment)
The workshops will be followed by a World Café with presentation and discussion of the results from the groups and the opportunity for networking over drinks and snacks for our workshop guests.
