Whisky Tasting Bremen - guided whisky tasting at Heimathaven

The whisky tasting at Heimathaven Bremen is all about conscious enjoyment, comparison and discovery. In a relaxed, personal atmosphere, we invite you to a guided whisky tasting in Bremen, which is aimed at both beginners and experienced whisky connoisseurs - no previous knowledge is required.

The focus of the evening is a blind tasting with 8 selected whiskies, which are tasted in 4 coordinated rounds. The whiskies are poured undercover so that origin, brand and price are initially irrelevant. The focus is entirely on aroma, taste and mouthfeel.

The whisky tasting is accompanied by a welcome drink, plenty of water and bread or pastries to neutralize the taste. After each round, the whiskies are broken down and categorized with background information on style, origin, cask maturation and character.

The number of participants is deliberately limited to a maximum of 16 people. This creates a calm, personal atmosphere with room for questions, exchange and discussion.

In addition to the whisky tastings, the Heimathaven Bremen also regularly hosts rum tastings, gin tastings and craft beer tastings. The program is complemented by Poetische Feinkost, a special event format that combines enjoyment with culture and language.
