A sound encounter with gong, violoncello and dance
Jörg Brandt (gong), Laura Maria Bastian (violoncello) and Alicia Bonell (dance) bring the composition "Wi(e)derspiegel" to life in the Great Hall of Freudenberg Castle:
In the composition by Hesse-based Laura Maria Bastian (studied professional musician and trained music therapist), movements and sounds meet through rhythmic structures as basic elements for action and reaction and dissolve space and time into each other through connecting elements. Sound movements and movement sounds can flow, end abruptly and begin again, from a new point or from a previous (sound) point. They can increase or decrease in intensity, take place on different levels, take up more or less space.
It is also about being thrown back onto your own person with their emotions, honestly acknowledging them and what arises between people: Relationships, encounters, impulses, energies, emotions in their immediacy, directness, honesty and clarity, partly visible and partly invisible, through re-action and (non-)communication.
The Great Hall is seated, the castle café is open and provides guests with drinks and soup.
There will be time and space for a subsequent exchange in the café.
Admission 7 p.m.
