Listening and crafting:

Did you know that wild bees are real superheroes?

Without them, there would be much less fruit and plants in our gardens. But even superheroes need help sometimes! We cordially invite you to an interesting family activity morning:

Listen & marvel: forest educator and book author Anke Simon uses her Kamishibai to tell the story of Mia and Melli - two bees who experience exciting and educational things on their journey through town and country.

Hands-on & handicrafts: To help wild bees find a home in your garden (or on your balcony), we'll build simple wild bee nesting aids together from reeds and bamboo to take home and observe.

Tips for adults: While the children are crafting, parents will be given practical tips on which plants are real "bee magnets" and how their own garden can become insect-friendly and thus close to nature.
