Podcaster Mo Röttgen from "Kraut im Ohr. Dein Wildkräuterpodcast" and wild herb expert Wolfgang Kienast from "stadtwildkraut" will be hosting another musically enriched evening of reading about the wild and edible plant world.

On November 20, the two will accompany you for the third time into the wonderful world of spontaneous urban vegetation. In an entertaining, informative and sometimes satirical way, they will report on cuisine and cultural history, talk about healing powers and legends and touch on both political and everyday topics. Of course, this evening's program includes different texts and new musical ingredients.

Mo and Wolfgang share a passion for nettles, plantain, goutweed and the like; they rediscover the vegetation in the city between manhole covers and cracks in walls. She writes expressive herb essays about them and he has been writing the popular wild herb columns for "bodo", the street magazine for Bochum, Dortmund and the surrounding area, for almost 16 years.

At the Literaturhaus, Wolfgang also plays the appropriate records, rarely heard musical treasures in which the urban flora is sung about. Sometimes it sounds soft, sometimes weird, sometimes pop and sometimes classical. Last but not least, he is a DJ.
