If you prefer to groove on St. Nicholas Day instead of listening to Last Christmas on a continuous loop, this year's "Winter Concert" by Plan b Chor Bonn e.V. is just the thing for you

On Saturday, December 6, 2025, the Trinitatiskirche Bonn will be playing from
18:30 (almost) no Christmas classics, but rousing and sensitive pop songs. Under the musical direction of Jannis Derrix, the Bonn Pop Choir will present well-known pieces by Natasha Bedingfield, Billie Eilish, Paris Paloma, Florence + The Machine and Cat Burns in a one-and-a-half-hour concert.
Cat Burns, which can banish any winter blues in the dark season.

The musical arrangements shed light on important contemporary issues that are of particular concern to the younger generation. For example, they question toxic relationships, take a critical look at gender inequality or encourage people to think about social expectations or finding their own identity. The pieces are performed both a cappella and with instrumental accompaniment by piano, guitar or modern beats.

Free admission, donations are welcome. Due to limited room capacity, free reservations can be made on the choir's website. Admission begins at 18:00. Reserved tickets expire at 18:20.
