Like no other time of the year, the dark December afternoons invite you to pause and reflect just before the most beautiful festive season of the year.
Every year, Dirk Böhling reads Christmas stories and poems from yesterday and today! Sometimes contemplative, sometimes cheerful, sometimes a little louder and sometimes very quiet, the Bremen actor and director always strikes the right note to inspire his audience.
Once again this year, he will be accompanied by Lynda Cortis, whose cello will also ensure that the audience can forget the stress of Christmas for a long moment and let their minds wander!
This year's program includes light-hearted pieces by Wilhelm Busch and Hans Dieter Hüsch, contemplative pieces by James Krüss and Hermann Hesse as well as music by Bach, Tchaikovsky, Irvin Berlin and, of course, classical Christmas carols.
An atmospheric Advent afternoon in which the performers will certainly not be the only
will certainly not be the only "repeat offenders"!
