Unanimously praised by the international media as the "Queen of the Clarinet" and a "world star with heart", Sabine Meyer is one of the most renowned soloists in the world. Following her engagement as principal clarinettist with the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra, countless concerts as well as radio and television appearances have taken her to all the world's major music centers. A luminary in her field, Sabine Meyer has performed with over 300 orchestras and is known for her incomparably breathy, flourishing tone.

In this musical Christmas present, the clarinettist, in dialog with the first-class saxophone quintet Alliage, enchants well-known melodies from Engelbert Humperdinck's "Hansel and Gretel" or Peter Tchaikovsky's "The Nutcracker" with new timbres. Other works by Johann Sebastian Bach, Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy, Dmitri Shostakovich, Cyrille Lehn and Stefan Maltsev also guarantee a festive concert evening in the run-up to Christmas with "Winterzauber".
