Bremen without the Weser? Unimaginable! The river, which is around 450 kilometers long, shapes entire regions and flows through the city for more than 40 kilometers. We walk along its banks, swim in its waters, live on and with it. But how is the Weser itself doing? And how does our view of it change when we no longer see it as a resource, but as a living counterpart?
The exhibition invites us to look at the Weser and our relationship with it in a new light.
At the center is a Weser installation by Bremen artist Felix Dreesen - complemented by voices from society, science and culture. Together, they open up rarely heard and surprising perspectives on our connection to the river.
