In the permanent exhibition at the German Emigration Center, visitors can experience over 300 years of immigration history to Germany - multifaceted, from different perspectives and in the context of social debates. The opportunity to understand migration history from the perspective of individuals creates a profound and lasting visitor experience. In her lecture, the speaker will present exemplary immigration biographies and highlight their significance both for the museum's educational work and for the educational mission of the institution.
