Kunsthalle / City / Society of the Future takes the threshold at which the institution finds itself as its starting point and opens it up to a collective examination of questions of urban and institutional coexistence. The Kunsthalle becomes a space for thought and experience, a laboratory of possibilities. It invites visitors to engage with questions of architecture, urban planning, cultural participation and the design of public and shared spaces in a city - especially in times of profound ecological, social and economic upheaval.
Artists, architects, designers, urban planners and scientists who deal with topics such as green cities, urban mobility, sustainable construction, living democracy, cultural participation and the role and responsibility of culture in this complex structure share their innovative ideas, projects and visions with visitors.
