Blood is not always thicker than water. It is often our friends who are there for us, who stick with us through thick and thin. Our best friends in particular have a special place in our lives. They forgive us when we make mistakes or help us when we get into difficulties that we can't get out of ourselves. And at their best, they are always honest with us. You don't choose your friends. Friends are people who come into your life, who you only know briefly until they mean the world to you. And so friendship becomes a bond that can even surpass love.

Two best friends - Leon and Elias - inseparable in life, are torn apart after death. In an otherworldly world of shadows, old wounds and faint memories, they embark on a search - for their path, their place and perhaps back to each other.

"Where We Are Going" is a play that raises profound questions about friendship, fate and life after death. It tells a humorous, emotional and exciting story from a world after the characters have died. Because some connections are so deep that they penetrate even the silence of eternity.
