They are currently on tour internationally with their project "Un-Covered" - a project that involves their fans in the creative process of creating their songs. Their concerts take them to clubs, living rooms, cafés, festivals and also to us at Die Goethe - always with the aim of making their travels as environmentally conscious as possible.
Genna & Jesse
combine a special chemistry, artful vocal harmonies, and passionate storytelling into a sound that fuses folk, soul, jazz, blues, and 1960s/70s pop - while transcending the boundaries of the American Roots genre.
Their music is free, honest, and vibrant, shaped by a desire to break conventions and follow their own feelings.
Originally from Michigan and Philadelphia, the duo gained their musical experience in cities such as San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York, Detroit, and Chicago. After years of living a nomadic musician's life, they settled with their child in a country house in southern Italy - where they live when they're not on the road.
Inspired by this dynamic lifestyle, Genna & Jesse come across as modern troubadours, offering their audiences something genuine and new with every encounter.
