Workshop SO, 07.09. 15-16:30 UHR with the Compagnie Girolisu (Cologne, DE)

Location: Music pavilion in the Hofgarten / near Jägerhofallee

Workshop for all dance enthusiasts from 7 to 77:

Encounters have always been at the heart of Compagnie Girolisu's work. Movement is their tool and the body is a space of unexpectedness and surprise for them and the audience. Dance requires letting go and questions one's own usual points of orientation. Combined with the language of dance theater, it makes a story legible that starts from the individual and becomes universal.

Lisa Da Boit and Rudi Galindo want to convey the joy of dance, of the dancing body with its imperfections, its fragility, but also its beauty and the poetry of physical differences. The workshop aims to promote encounters between people from different communities and social backgrounds. Initiating new encounters through the discovery of movement is an opportunity to create a community, a belonging to a group. This proposal is defined by these two objectives: personal development and the creation of a group that meets around a creative process in which everyone is involved.
