What does the golden robot from Star Wars C-3PO have to do with the world of work 100 years ago? The "Brave new world of work" exhibition also looks at how technological progress has changed work. On the one hand, it brought relief, on the other hand, it also brought fears. People were particularly afraid of being replaced by machines. Inspired by science and imagination, works of art, stories and films were created about this. These were so impressive that they continue to serve as models for new stories and costumes to this day. After an introduction to the exhibition, you can use your imagination to create a funny little robot from wood and workshop scraps.
