Join Anna Sarvira for an imaginative workshop where you will learn the skills to create effective protest posters.

The workshop is aimed at adults who want to use visual communication as a tool for advocacy, change and self-expression.

Protest posters have long been a powerful medium for speaking out on important issues and generating attention.
During this workshop, you will learn to design effective and eye-catching posters that clearly communicate political and social messages.
Whether you want to address global, local or very personal challenges, you will explore how art can be used as a tool to spark conversation and motivate action.

The workshop begins with a brief introduction to the history and meaning of protest posters and continues with a group research exercise.
You will discuss issues you are passionate about and how you can turn them into compelling visual narratives.

Anna will guide you through the design process, focusing on the cutting out process for poster design.
Using colored paper, scissors and glue, you will experiment with composition, typography and slogans to create impactful messages.

This workshop will focus on effective storytelling, clear messaging and innovative design.
After the session, each of you will have designed your own protest poster with your own point of view on a chosen topic.

Whether you are an artist, activist or simply interested in gaining insight into the connection between art and engagement, this workshop offers the opportunity to learn about the creation process and explore the underlying themes.
