Workshop "Stark durch Verbundenheit - ein Workshop zu feministischen Solidarität und nachhaltigem Aktivismus"

Cordial invitation to the workshop "Strong through connectedness - A workshop on feminist solidarity and sustainable activism" with facilitator, trainer, author & climate justice activist Sara Fromm.

Patriarchy, anti-feminism, the shift to the right, militarism - the times for progressive change are bleak. And make resistance against reactionary forces and commitment to a feminist and socially just future all the more important. But how can we, as FLINTA*, who are directly affected by many of these systems of exploitation, continue to be active when sometimes everything seems so hopeless?

In this one-day workshop, we want to gather strength together and strengthen each other to continue to be loud and active together on the streets, at the workplace, at the information stand and all the other places. We will discuss what the current political and social situation is doing to us and our commitment - and develop initial counter-strategies together. We take a look at the past in order to learn from the different generations on whose shoulders we stand. In order to remain active in the long term - to burn without burning out - we need sustainable activism. In this workshop, we will provide you with supportive tools for this, as well as for moments of hopelessness. In a visioning exercise, we will paint our future the way we like it - and set off together. The workshop is aimed at FLINTA who see themselves as feminist activists in a wide variety of ways (whether in peace, climate or anti-fascist groups, for example).

*FLINTA stands for women, lesbians, intersex, non-binary, trans and agender people.

So that we can tailor the workshop to you as well as possible, we would be delighted if you could fill out our profile in advance. The template will be sent to you by email once you have successfully registered. If you are unable to attend at short notice, please let us know in good time so that we can allocate the place to someone else.

Please note:

• Up to 15 people can take part in the workshop.
• The workshop lasts a whole day. If you cannot attend the whole time, please refrain from registering.
• Snacks and lunch will be provided.
• The workshop will be held in German spoken language. Good listening comprehension is therefore a prerequisite.
• You have the opportunity to express yourself in French, English or Spanish - translation is possible.
