Workshop »write, read out and slam«

In the organizer's words:

Once a month, the Grand Slam is held at the brechtbühne in the Augsburg State Theater. The word 'slam' refers to the art form of presenting your own texts in competition, from fast-paced to thoughtful, from poetry to rap to prose.

Would you also like to slam, but don't know how or even if? Have you already written lyrics but don't yet have the confidence to perform them on stage? We'd love to work with you to give you the courage to prove yourself on a slam stage. We offer a small writing workshop and discuss your texts together in an exchange of inspiration and opinions. We will also be happy to go through the texts you bring with you. We will work on your presentation posture with breathing and speaking technique exercises.

Mutual feedback and inspiration will help you to be courageous and take the next step onto the slamming stage.

At the end of the evening, you can look forward to at least one starting place for the next Grand Slam at brechtbühne!
