Back to the roots - the 2026 Wurzelfestival invites you to the Secret Forest

From June 4 to 7, 2026, the Secret Forest in Niedergörsdorf (around 80 km south of Berlin) will once again be transformed into a unique festival world of music, art, nature and community. For four days, the Wurzelfestival 2026 invites you to leave everyday life behind and immerse yourself in an immersive forest landscape full of electronic sounds and creative encounters.

With over 240 acts, around 80 workshops and 13 lovingly designed floors and areas, the festival offers a varied program between dance, culture and relaxation. The special locations in the forest include Märchenwald, Studio 54, Schallschleuse, Oase, Wurzelfloor, Rumpelkammer, Chill im Hain, Waldphilharmonie, Workshop Spaces and the Secret Floor

A festival of community

The Wurzelfestival is more than just a music festival: it is a space for openness, creativity and respectful coexistence. People from different backgrounds come together to celebrate, exchange ideas and feel connected in the special atmosphere of the forest.

The festival is celebrated in memory of the late Booker der Wurzel, whose passion and musical vision helped shape the festival.

Sustainability & inclusion

An important part of the Wurzelfestival is a conscious approach to nature and community. The festival focuses on sustainable structures and aims to create a place where everyone feels welcome. In addition to musical experiences, there are a variety of mindfulness activities, workshops, retreats and communal encounters in the middle of the forest and in harmony with the environment.
