YFG Pave is not only a rapper who impresses with his self-produced, excellently angled trap beats, but also with his profound raps and astonishing musical versatility, but above all with his skills in dropping topics that are rather removed from the hip-hop game, such as heartache, inner conflict, social criticism and spiritual awakening. In other words: YFG Pave can shine with party tracks and love songs at the same time, his self-description sounds like this: "Pave portrays an internally torn character, searching for fulfillment and inner peace in a world that is becoming increasingly crazy for him." If that's not the kind of role prose we think is great.

Sly Alone and Peaks, who have been providing us with their content format "Namedropz" via TikTok and Instagram for a while now, are also great. At the end of last year, the two rappers finally delivered their first joint mixtape "Tag Team Champz". The two freestyle pros have now packed their talent for battling it out with words and names in a hare-brained short space of time into eleven songs. Based on cartoon samples and wonderfully pumping hip-hop instrumentals, the two deliver a relaxed, dynamic rap spectacle back to back that just has a flow to it. And they sit right in the middle of the sweet spot between old and new school, nicely without all the hyper-masculine German rap fuss that is usually so annoying.
