In the organizer's words:

About the project:

A dance project with children and young people, led by Marion Amschwand and Augusto Jaramillo Pineda
Presented by steptext dance project

What stories are hidden in a piece of chocolate or a T-shirt? How do the children who make our favorite things fare and how can we as young people take responsibility for our world?

The children and young people of steptext dance project 's young artists combine dance and parcours to create a gripping dance theater production that shows that children's rights and the rights of the earth are inextricably linked. Inspired by the pioneering constitutions of Bolivia and Ecuador, which grant nature its own rights, the young artists have been working on the rights of the earth alongside human rights for several years. In 2025, the focus is on cocoa and cotton production combined with child labor.

Young artists

Since 2003, steptext dance project has been giving young dance and theater enthusiasts space for development in the performing arts under the label young artists. Regular training sessions, dance camps, vacation programs, performances - the young artists offer is varied and free of charge. Led by Augusto Jaramillo Pineda, the young artists stand for the artistic exploration of current issues that concern the young generation. Since the international CONSTRUCTORES project, which brought young people from Bremen and Medellin in Colombia into an exchange, the projects have been dealing with the indigenous concept of the rights of the earth.
