Yung Lean is here to stay. After going viral in 2013, Lean used this energy to build a successful career, global trends and an extremely loyal fan base. Well advanced in his career as an established artist, he achieved the near impossible in early 2022: his first hit, "Ginseng Strip 2002", went viral a second time, inspiring thousands of TikToks, reaching #1 on Shazam and staying there for weeks.

Over the course of 2021, Stardust was born - another chapter in Yung Lean's mixtape series. But this is a Yung Lean mixtape: FKA Twigs is featured, Skrillex and Jack Donoghue from Salem produced alongside longtime collaborators such as Whitearmor, Woesum and Ssaliva. The fact that even a supposedly "loose" project brings together heavyweights from all corners of the music industry shows its influence. Stardust is proof that Yung Lean's artistic drive remains unshakeable, even in the wake of viral success.
