Yung Pepp - Between Spätibank and Splash! stage: the new voice from Leipzig

At just 17 years old, Yung Pepp is one of the most exciting newcomers on the German indie rap scene. His songs are going viral, his lines hit the heart - and his stories take place where many people grew up: between football pitches, prefabricated buildings and the streets of Leipzig-Plagwitz.

After an intensive start to the year with pop-up events, two appearances at the Splash! Festival and a rapidly growing fanbase, Yung Pepp continues to attract attention. With tracks like "Junge Träume aus Gold" - over a million views on Instagram - or the new single "Wassereis", he proves that he is more than just a brief hype.

On beats by Florida Juicy, he combines personal insights with attitude, humor and a clear message: his world is honest, colorful and loud rather than grey and "brown". His music feels like a coming-of-age movie à la Mid90s - only with a Leipzig setting instead of L.A.

Support comes not only from the community, but also from personalities such as Kurt Krömer, Enissa Amani and artists such as Filow, Ritter Lean, Savvy and Kasi.
