Between flying and falling - young talent gala

This year, the FHH is once again part of the nationwide festival for contemporary circus Zeit für Zirkus.

After the format was a complete success last year, the NACHWUCHSGALA is back at ZEIT FÜR ZIRKUS 2025! As part of the gala, young up-and-coming artists from the Ruhr region will present self-staged acts in various artistic disciplines and provide an insight into artistic development processes. The up-and-coming talents will be supported by aerial artists Sabrina Püschel on the flying pole and Anastasia Papavasileiou with the aerial hoop.

The question "What do you understand by circus?" and the discovery of individual performative expression are just as visible here as the experimental artistic work itself. Afterwards, the audience will have the opportunity to talk to the artists.

Duration approx. 60 minutes with subsequent audience discussion in the café

An event organized by the Youth Welfare Office of the City of Dortmund in cooperation with Neuer Zirkus Ruhr e.V. with up-and-coming artists from various youth circuses in the Ruhr region, who will perform their self-staged acts in different disciplines.
