The year is almost over again! And what's the saying? At home in Munich, at home in the world.
Hello dear friends of the 089 Bar,

the year is almost over again! We hope you had lots of great moments this year, such as celebrating a successful graduation, landing a great job, getting a cool promotion, meeting lovely people or going on mega vacation trips abroad!
Because: As the saying goes: At home in Munich, at home in the world!

And because all of these are more than good reasons to say goodbye to the year in style, we celebrate New Year's Eve 7 times in one night! And usually all your friends are spread out all over the city on New Year's Eve and you don't manage to see and hug everyone at midnight, so with us you still have plenty of chances to catch up. So just make an appointment for the many other time zones with us, then it will work out with all your friends, girlfriends, spouses and whoever else you would like to see on New Year's Eve.

10 pm Africa / Nairobi.... As we are certainly not lacking in good humor even at such an early hour, it is certainly not difficult for one or the other to sing along to Toto's "Africa".
11 p.m. Greece / Athens ... one sirtaki and back. Everything is much easier with a little ouzo in your head.
24:00 Munich ... What's happening ... kiss, snap, toast and pop the corks! Pack hugs are a MUST!
1 a.m. Great Britain / London ... if you're already drinking like an Englishman, you might not live to see the next New Year's Eve
4 o'clock Brazil / Rio de Janeiro ... in Brazil, people jump over 7 waves on New Year's Eve, which brings good luck. We celebrate New Year's Eve 7 times and if you also wear red underwear, you're in for a fantastic 2024. A little superstition never hurt anyone
6 a.m. USA / New York ... Let's imagine that the middle bar is the Empire State Building, so everyone up to the bar and celebrate!
9 a.m. USA / Las Vegas ... What happens in Vegas.... You know the drill...

7 times New Year's Eve, 7 times the first kiss in the new year, 7 times countdown, anticipation, excitement, toasts, celebrations and joyful frenzy and by the 2nd time zone at the latest, strangers have already become friends and for all those who are unaccompanied, the chances of a kiss or two naturally increase immensely.
Hopefully it goes without saying that you dress up a bit on New Year's Eve

Make a pilgrimage to our "party living room" as early as possible, before we can no longer admit even the chicest or weirdest night owls and even our regular guests at a later hour due to overcrowding.
