Open discussion event and workshops on threats to and future prospects for democracy in Germany and Europe.
Speakers confirmed so far include
How is democracy in Europe threatened by hybrid war, economic and political processes? What ideas are there on how we citizens can counter these threats and become active for a positive development of democracy?
We invite all interested citizens to an open dialog and active participation. No prior knowledge is required. Following the discussion rounds, workshops will be offered in smaller groups - to deepen and start initiatives that can be continued in the subsequent period.

In addition to multipliers, we want to invite interested citizens from different areas of society. Commitment to democracy is more important than prior knowledge and expertise.
With the Russian full-scale invasion of Ukraine, questions of security and civil society resilience have come to the fore. We are therefore focusing on the exchange with Ukrainian civil society and Ukrainian refugees - also in order to learn from their experiences.
The event is being held in cooperation with CRISP e.V., Berlin, the Ukrainian Coordination Center Dresden and DE-WIR.

Price information:
Entrance fee per day € 16.00. Lunch and savory and sweet snacks for 2 smaller breaks are offered for a daily flat rate of € 15.00 / person. The meal includes vegan and meat dishes, with Ukrainian specialties.
