Lemongrab

[Lemongrab is a 4 piece garage punk band known for their raw and authentic live shows. Originally founded in Montréal, the band is based in Berlin since 2020 and have made a which has made a quick yet lasting impression in the Berlin and wider European punk scene. Expect cathartic fueled art punk. Their influences range from the Stooges to the Clean, detouring at Pylon's weirdo-pop hooks and resurfacing on a familiar Bikini Kill-esque territory.

Principess

[Principess doesn't just smile away the praise of the music critic basking in his adulation. She bites the head off the rose and one, two, uno, due, tre, quattro. Then she plays - no, not the Mansplainer to the wall, pure waste of energy - but a whole hit parade of bouncy disco pop and motoric Italo kraut. Drums, Rickenbacker bass, organ and three voices with dialect and accent for interculturality and against sexism (Fusion 2025). Whether without make-up or shaving, in Italian or German, they sing about feminism, the gender pay gap, PMS and hormones. No new topics? Unfortunately not. But still far too topical. Instead, they lift the mood with irony, fringed boots, ritmo e velocità:"...a party in pink, full of snappy Italo rock, The Doors organ, "Stranger Things" eighties quirkiness" (SZ 9.8.2025).
