Joana Osman, born in 1982, is the daughter of a Palestinian father and a German mother. She studied American Studies, Theater Studies and Art History and co-founded the peace movement "The Peace Factory" in 2012. Joana Osman works as an author, lecturer and storytelling coach and lives with her family near Munich.

Mirjam Zadoff has been head of the Munich NS Documentation Center since 2018. Guest professorships have taken her to Zurich, Berkeley, Berlin and Augsburg, among other places. She currently teaches at LMU and TUM Munich and is the editor and author of numerous books, exhibition catalogs and articles. Mirjam Zadoff was a member of the jury for the Geschwister Scholl Prize and the German Non-Fiction Prize 2023.
