Schwerin, we're coming on 13.9. - to the yard sale festival in the Schelf- & Werdervorstadt. A colorful paradise of junk, goodies and neighborhood opens up in around 90 courtyards - and in the middle of it all, we'll be playing in the Paul Holzwerkstatt, 11 am - 4 pm. We got to know each other over ten years ago at the Highfield Festival, and since then we've only been on stage together on special occasions - this is one of them. What Zwar & Scheurich bring to the stage is more than just a concert: it is a dialog between two musicians who share their joy of handmade music and the shared experience with the audience. Sometimes each sings on their own, sometimes their voices merge to form a second layer, sometimes one takes over the picking while the other carries the melody - and suddenly magic happens. The setlist consists of their own songs and hand-picked covers that have been carefully selected: sometimes touchingly intimate, sometimes full of energy and sing-along moments - from Bryan Adams to AnnenMayKantereit. Each number has its own color - carried by the nuances, the subtleties and the honest desire to create special moments together with the audience. The duo has its origins in a story that resonates like a good song: over ten years ago, the two met by chance at the Highfield Festival near Leipzig - Johannes as a guest with a guitar, Hendrik as security. A spontaneous moment, a song by Sportfreunde Stiller, a campsite that suddenly becomes a stage. After that, they lose sight of each other - until they meet again in 2025, when they play a street concert in Schwerin: Applause, compliments - and the feeling that something new could start here. Today, they bring exactly this feeling to the stage: two voices, two guitars, a heart for music - and a lot of love for detail.
