Zwischen Schlüssel und Zauber: Vortrag von Dr. Yvonne Gönster mit Einstimmung auf den Andreastag – einen traditionellen Wahrsageabend mit dem Ritual des Wachsgießens

In a lecture at 2 p.m., Dr. Yvonne Gönster from the German Lock and Fittings Museum in Velbert will "decode" the deeper meaning of the key. Using exhibits, the speaker will provide insights into the past and present of this symbol. Afterwards, from 3 p.m., we will get into the mood for St. Andrew's Day (Polish: Andrzejki) - a divination evening focusing on the ritual of casting wax. Wax is poured through a keyhole. The resulting figures and shadows will give you a glimpse into the future.
