We are Bottrop beer

We were born and grew up in Bottrop. We went to school here. This is also where we drank our first beer together. We may have learned different professions, but we still share a love of beer to this day. We used to talk about local beers in convivial gatherings.

Our specialist, Arthur, learned brewing from scratch, became a master brewer and trained as a beer sommelier.

He always says: "For me, beer is not just a pilsner in the evening. I've had a small brewing kettle for years and try out my own beer creations and collect the recipes. Beer is a natural and pure drink. It is healthy and valuable. Brewing beer is a kind of creative, multifaceted passion for me. I visit breweries when I travel, taste beers and exchange ideas with other brewers. It's my hobby, my job and my life."

He once asked our group: "What would you think if beer was brewed in Bottrop again? Should we brew our beer in Bottrop? What do you think? Who would take part?"

What a question - everyone, of course!

The art of brewing is not given to everyone, but we have different talents, knowledge or skills to offer for our beer.

We want to bring an old tradition back to life.

Since 2019, we have been brewing beer in Bottrop with our own hands: our Bottrop beer, in our city. We brew it in Bottrop and sell it ourselves in Bottrop for Bottrop from our kiosk.

We want to revive the decades-old tradition of local beer.
