The Boulevardtheater Dresden is the most popular address for entertainment and popular theater in the Saxon state capital.

Since September 14, 2014, it has been "curtain up" and "stage free" for the high art of amusement and heart-warming entertainment in Dresden.

And if you're wondering "What's going on in Dresden?", then we have more than one tip for you: comedy, fairy tales and concerts - comedy, readings and shows - for children and families, for adults of all ages, for groups and companies - that's our year-round entertainment program for all Dresdeners and guests of our city.

In addition to annual new productions, you can also experience special Dresden classics, fascinating fairy tales, unique sand theater or cult music and theater shows in our house on Maternistraße (formerly Theater Wechselbad) or our famous frivolous comedies, which are only recommended for visitors aged 18 and over. Other highly recommended guest performances by local, national and international artists complete our varied program, which you can browse through here.

Before the start, during the breaks and after each performance, you can round off your theater experience perfectly at our cozy house bar with small snacks, delicious wine, a freshly tapped beer or a glass of sparkling wine. You are sure to be able to experience one or two artists up close here. In the warmer months and when the weather is nice, we extend the foyer to include a small beer garden where you can enjoy a refreshing summer beer or light wine.
