When it comes to concerts, parties and related events, no other location in Dortmund is so much in the spotlight. Since 1968, the FZW brand has stood for exquisite and inspiring events - across all genres. With the new building and the move directly into the city center, we form the cultural center of the city of Dortmund with the surrounding cultural institutions and venues in the legendary Dortmund U-Tower. We not only inspire our audience, but also artists, agencies and event organizers with our state-of-the-art event technology and unique atmosphere, and have played our way into the hearts of live music fans within a very short time.

The FZW hall offers space for 1,400 people for unseated shows and up to 600 seats for seated events.
The FZW CLUB is the melting pot for the stars of tomorrow and offers space for 300 people. As in the hall, the club also has basic technical equipment for all kinds of productions. The club is also often used as a second floor for party concepts.

The FZW BAR has 120 seats for readings, stand-up programs and screenings. This room is also multifunctional and can accommodate up to 320 people for unplugged shows. LED walls and a sound system turn the room into another party floor. The ensemble is rounded off by our beautiful outdoor area, which offers a beach area with palm trees, sand and loungers as well as many other seating options and 2 large pagodas - chill-out perfection.

Of course, our events and program content are as diverse as our audience.
While during the week, the club is usually packed with musical idols, at the weekends, dance enthusiasts celebrate at various parties.
