The main project of Kulturbeutel e.V. is IRGENDWO, a self-managed cultural space on a wasteland near Bremen Airport. During the project period of 5 months, we host a mixture of parties, family days, concerts, workshops, yoga, theater, cinema and other forms of cabaret. The whole thing is open air, with two stages and a spacious area around it. We try to provide a low-threshold cultural offering to which everyone should have access, regardless of origin, gender, level of education, sexual orientation, financial means, age and other factors that often exclude others. The aim is to promote modern, citizen-driven urban development, which means we talk a lot to the authorities and politicians.
